As some of you may remember. My mountain bike has popped a spoke and the bike shop could not get the freewheel off. I looked at replacing the wheel with a like for like but since I’ll also need a new gear set I figured I could buy a used bike and get an better wheelset. My budget is $150 but less is more better.
Currently I have a shimano 21 speed setup so bonus points for being able to slap the wheels on and go.

Watch the wheel sizes. I think the multiroad uses 700c wheels. The smaller frame might have 650b wheels. If you go for that last Trek, it has 26" wheels, and you’re going to part it out, I might be interested in that fork.

How tall are you? At least try to find one that fits correctly. Of the bikes you posted I would go in this order:
1. Trek 9 30 single track, this is actually a very nice made in USA steel frame. Would Ebay for $ 300-400 easy. I will look I think i have a 27.2 post and seat you could have for shipping if you bought it.
2. T rek 73 00, looks serviceable and would be nice go anywhere but serious offloading .

I would not be using t hese frames. I’d just be using the wheels and any other parts that might upgrade my current ride.

I might have a fully built wheel at home. I can check.

The Trek 930 is a fairly nice build.

That's what I'll aim for then.

Assuming the bike you are fixing is a 26" wheel bike?

I have a fully built 26" single speed rim brake wheel too...

That'd be rad.

I don't think that would work. Maybe if I could put a 7 gear cassette or freewheel on it.
